Position Summary:
The Logistics Manager, Warehousing has direct financial accountability for internal and external warehousing operations and provides strategic support to Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Sales functions. This position plays an active role in identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, service enhancements, and savings opportunities which directly affect overall profitability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Directly manages warehousing AOPs for multiple sites. Investigates and reports on variances to upper management.
* Supports the Supply Chain by analyzing and implementing strategic warehousing solutions. Conducts due diligence in selecting outside storage vendors and coordinates with IT, APS, and Finance Inventory Control to realize implementation.
* Manages pallet administration for warehousing.
* Serves as corporate liaison to field warehousing when support or cooperation from other corporate functions is needed.

Identifies, initiates, and implements savings and service projects in the supply chain network. Projects will vary in scope but will involve analysis of transportation and warehousing activity, identification of savings opportunities, and other projects as assigned. Responsible for leading these project from start to finish and developing appropriate measurements of the projects success. Involves influencing and working with various levels of the organization. Involves working with various functional areas within the company.

Supports QA and Food Safety immediate and long term initiatives. Involved in Safe Quality Foods audit compliance.

Drives warehousing Capital needs. Creates CERs and assists in project management to ensure efficient implementation.

* 5-7 Years Experience in Warehousing
