Fleishman-Hillard has an immediate opening in our Chicago office for an entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and highly motivated Senior Vice President to lead and manage our digital communications group. This individual will provide senior leadership to direct the expansion of the digital communications department within the Chicago office, including strategic consulting and the hands-on integration of interactive and new media solutions into the marketing communications and public relations mix.
Responsibilities: - Provide senior leadership to manage and grow Chicagos digital communications team. - Develop, package and integrate digital consulting and tactical services within the communications mix offered by the Chicago office. Lead digital new business outreach. - Contribute strategies, tactics and creative digital ideas to project proposals and client programs. Participate in account group brainstorms, strategy and creative sessions, contributing digital / interactive / new media ideas. - Serve as the primary contact for office digital communications initiatives. - Develop overall digital communication strategies and make actionable recommendations for clients. - Manage social networking and media campaigns, and blogger outreach. - Engage in peer education and training where required; support and advise account staff in supporting digital program elements. - Manage projects for on-time and on-budget completion. - Recruit, mentor, and retain digital communications staff. - Formalize and package specific digital services and products offered by the team. - Build strong relationships with key agency clients, and throughout the FH Digital network.

| Job Requirements |
Qualifications: - Minimum 10-12 years of e-Marketing experience working with clients and developing business within a corporate environment, Internet professional services firm, PR agency, or advertising/marketing agency. - Solid knowledge of e-Marketing, digital, interactive and mobile marketing communications strategy, analytics and user behavior, with the ability to link these to traditional communications in a logical, compelling manner. - Experience developing digital communications strategy for clients that leverage social networking (MySpace, Facebook, Ning, Flickr, You Tube, etc.) and blogger outreach - Experience with integrated marketing communications campaigns - Proven track record managing staff and budgets, with excellent skills at both talent development and retention, and business management. - Consulting capabilities to translate client business requirements into technical requirements, and experience leading teams through all stages of Web site, online applications and digital outbound communications (email, viral applet) development. - Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/accounts, staff and client relationships, and deliver results. - Proven track record of excellent client counseling, including strategic thinking, verbal, and writing skills. - Excellent relationship skills; good listener; respects the expertise of others; proven ability to equally motivate and garner action from superiors, peers and subordinates, whether there is a formal reporting relationship or not. The successful candidate is expected to build strong relations with key agency clients, and account and department leads locally, as well as throughout the FH Digital network.
