 Job Description

Varsity Tutors LLC is seeking a talented Assistant Tutoring Director. The Assistant Director will report to the Tutoring Director and work closely with her to continue the growth and expansion of Chicago operations.

Job Title: Assistant Tutoring Director

Responsibilities:

Working primarily from home, the Assistant Tutoring Director will:

" Provide exceptional customer service to Varsity Tutors clients
" Assist in recruiting and hiring qualified tutors in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs
" Assign new clients to qualified tutors
" Keep track of client accounts and tutors' hours
" Assist in managing tutors
" Develop and expand the client base in Chicago and surrounding suburbs
" Network and market Varsity Tutors services


 Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

" Ideal applicant will have previous experience in a leadership role at a tutoring center/company
" Previous experience in education / education management / for-profit education required
" Minimum BA/BS , MA/MS preferred. Degree in Education preferred.
" Ability to work 20 hours per week to start, with potential for full-time hours in the future
" Reliable transportation
" Excellent verbal and written communication skills
" Ability to work independently and prioritize work in order to meet clients needs
" Excellent project management / organizational skills
" Strong analytical and problem solving skills
" Strong customer service orientation
" Ability to build and expand client base through marketing initiatives
" Strong sales ability
" Applicants must be willing to submit to criminal background and driving record checks in order to be eligible for employment
