 Job Description

Position Summary:

Assists in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assist in the provision of delegated clinical tasks for which he/she has been trained. Performance is in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Delnor Hospital.


 Job Requirements

Requirements


* Must be a high school graduate or have a GED equivalent.

* Must be CNA Certified and/or completion of one clinical hospital rotation.

* Minimum of one year medical experience preferred.

* Experience with medical terminology preferred.

* CNA certificate strongly preferred.

* Maintains current CPR certification.

* CNA certificate preferred.

* Preferably medical terminology.

* Ability to communicate effectively.

* The ability and knowledge to operate the computer and printer, including data entry and collection.

* The ability to use the fax machine and copy machine.

* Rotates to other shifts and departments as needed.

* Participates in required department meetings and hospital meetings and/or in-services.

* Participates in any in-services to enhance job performance.
