 Job Description

The Patient Care Technician is a paraprofessional caregiver under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for activities of daily living, certain tests and procedures, environmental duties and other tasks as designated by his/her competency level. The PCT provide care for the age groups as defined in the scope of care.


 Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Must have completed Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician Class or must have successfully completed the first semester of clinical nursing in an Accredited School of Nursing.
* Must be on the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry.
* CPR

Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
