 Job Description

Nuclear Facility Engineering support is required for the remote handled (RH) and contact handled (CH) transuranic (TRU) waste disposal campaign and the removal and disposition of other stored nuclear materials and wastes in the Building 212 Alpha Gamma Hot Cell Facility as identified in the ARRA plan.


 Job Requirements

- Knowledge of remote handling technologies.
- Considerable knowledge in developing procedures and work plans.
- Knowledge of Deactivation activities associated with Nuclear Fuel examination facilities.
- Knowledge of Conduct of Operations policies and practices.
- DOE Project Management experience, PREFERABLY at a senior level.
- Experience with procurement activities and interfacing with vendors supplying materials at Quality Levels A-D.
- Extensive knowledge of Nuclear Facilities and their operations.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOE, NEC, NEPA and Laboratory safety policy and procedures.
