Position Summary: A strategic partner to the marketing brand teams by directing the national Multicultural Marketing activities for the entire portfolio of products in North America. Develop long and short term strategies, marketing plans, advertising and sales promotion programs that will achieve corporate profit, volume and share objectives. Direct the activities of advertising agencies. Lead the execution of multicultural strategies and initiatives through a matrix organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Creatively identify opportunity areas for growth by effectively using market research and competitive intelligence. * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the multicultural market. * Lead the development of an integrated communication strategy for all multicultural activities, integrating communication across all channels. * Drive the strategic and tactical planning process with clear success criteria for each activity's contribution to the overall financial goals. * Frequent involvement at all stages of all multicultural initiatives, from campaign strategy development to creative execution. * Monitor performance measurements to ensure sales volume, share and profit objectives are accomplished, recommends and implements corrective actions. |

Qualifications
* Masters degree (preferred) and 8-10 years experience in brand- and/or consumer activation required. Specific recent Multicultural (emphasis on Hispanic) experience is a must. Consumer/Food products experience in a brand focused environment preferred. * Ability to demonstrate and apply to the business a deep understanding of the multicultural marketplace, including demographic trends and issues, consumer behavior and cultural dynamics. * Strong cross-functional leadership background, collaborative attitude and experience in working in matrix organizations.
