Analyzes data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s), and then designs, develops, amends, optimizes, and certifies database schema design to meet system(s) requirements. Gathers, analyzes, and normalizes relevant information related to, and from business processes, functions, and operations to evaluate data credibility and determine relevance and meaning. Develops an overall data architecture that supports the information needs of the business in a flexible but secure environment.  Job Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience; 1. Database Administration experience with version 9.7 of DB2 LUW (DB2 on Linux, Unix, Windows); 2. Experience with Design, Implementation and Support of DB2 databases; 3. 7 years of IT work experience in DBA, DBMS, design and support and relevant computing environments; 5. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices; 6. Takes initiative to solve complex problems; takes an outside in perspective to identify innovative solutions; 7.
