To guarantee a positive first impression, it is crucial that job seekers be professionally dressed and must have copies of their updated resume to hand to each employer.

To help prepare job seekers for the event, Grundy Workforce Services will be offering a variety of free resume writing workshops on the following dates and times: Wednesday, August 4th at 10:00am Wednesday, August 25th at 11:00am Wednesday, September 1st at 1:00pm Wednesday, September 8th at 11:00am Monday, September 13th at 1:00pm In addition, interviewing skills workshops will be offered on the following dates and times: Wednesday, August 18th at 10:00am Wednesday, September 8th at 1:00pm
Individuals interested in attending these workshops should call (815) 942-0566 to reserve a seat. Agencies partnering with JJC Grundy Workforce Services for the fair include: Community Foundation of Grundy County, Grundy County Chamber of Commerce and Grundy Economic Development Council.
